RIBC to MA Red Cross: GTFO.

The Rhode Island Blood Center and The Hospital Association of Rhode Island says they are concerned the American Red Cross is holding the blood drives in Rhode Island, and then delivering that blood to patients in Massachusetts.  The RI Blood Center has asked the Red Cross to reconsider its decision to collect blood here in Rhode Island and take it across state lines. But the Red Cross says its getting requests from people and groups in Rhode Island who want to donate from them.  The Red Cross also says it believes in “Blood without Borders” to ensure blood is available wherever and whenever its needed.
